About Me: 

Hi! I'm Amelia, but my friends and guests know me best as Violet. A nickname I picked up in beauty school and speaks directly to my love of everything colorful and bright.

I'm born and raised in San Diego, a Dog Mom, Amateur Baker and Expert Colorist working out of Alchemy Loft, a private studio here in the heart of San Diego. My passion and speciality is creating uniquely tailored and adventurous colors for each and every guest who sits in my chair. Whether that be bright tones that would make Lisa Frank green with envy, or soft blended shades to perfectly accent a face shape, each and every color is uniquely tailored to each guest's personality. 

I started in the professional beauty industry in 2007 after running a makeshift salon out of my mom's kitchen in high school. Through the years I've found a passion for not only educating my guests in the salon, but also fellow hairstylist. I've spent the better part of the last decade learning and collaborating with some of the biggest brands in the industry as an Educator.

I'm a firm believer that when you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, anything is possible. Each day getting to help unlock a guest's true self, or even just add a little sparkle to their day is a gift.
